Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, it has! When we originally submitted our paperwork we indicated that we were interested in siblings. Then, when we were given Shanti and she did not have siblings, we then asked if it were possible to adopt two unrelated children. We were informed that it was not possible and began planning for Shanti’s arrival.
Well, Monday we were presented with a new opportunity. We got a surprise email containing updated pictures of Shanti and a new little stranger called Sandeep. The pictures of both of them are amazing! 
Sandeep is slightly younger than Shanti. He was born on November 8th, 2004. We have spent the week completely overwhelmed by this new development but we knew there was no other option but to adopt him as well. You can’t look at these pictures and say no!
We still do not have plans to travel but details are slowly emerging. We currently have the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) reviewing the medical paperwork and pictures we have been given. After that, we need to decide about making one or two trips to Nepal. The long and short of it is, whatever option will get them home sooner is the option that we will be going with.
